How are you handling the fuel injector plumbing?

I parked it at my dad's house a couple of months ago because I had no space at my place.

He started digging into it and has done all the mechanical/assembly work.

Things are going pretty slow.

Having trouble with the Accel engine management. Might be considering MegaSquirt.

The accel system is one of the reasons (yet a minor one, $$$ was the major one, ha) that I stayed away from it. I would have switched to MS had I gotten it. I do know that Don Black helped build that engine and is probably one of the few in Louisville that can work with the Accel system, and his shop is the only one i'd want to work on my car (hes actually got it now). His number is 502-964-8830, maybe he can get it going while you're building the MS. Its too nice out not to be driving these cars.

I talked to Don and he said he wasn't really familiar with the GEN 6 version of Accel, but he could probably figure it out. I also talked to Charles at Automotion and he says he can tune Accel with his eyes closed.

Although I have heard nothing but good things about Don and his shop, I might be taking it to Charles for a tuning then Don on subsequent visits.

UPDATE:

As I type this, MegaSquirt 3 is being installed. I should be driving it, for the first time since I bought it, by the end of the month!!

I think the interior is coming along nicely! I will be installing the carpet kit I bought from Esty when I get it back from the guy installing my M.S.

He is also going to get rid of all the switches in the center console.

IT IS RUNNING!!!!

Now it just needs a good tune. If all goes as planned, I should be on the road in 2-3 weeks.
