does anyone know what a good 14" wheel is for a 2002 track car? price is a factor but strength not so much. they wont see the road. can do 14x7 or 14x8. mostly looking for exact weights. thanks for any help.

using 14s cause i have a few sets of 14 slicks, 13s wont fit over my brakes, and im worried 15s will be to pricey and might rub. im using 22mm spacers already.

Don't spend any money on 14's-

even though 15's ARE a bit of work to fit, there just aren't any

14" race tires any more.

If you have 14" tires in plenty, buy a set of E30 basketweaves to use

them up, but don't spend any more than you have to.

And then sell them on when you move to 13's or 15's.

Unless you have a GT/SP set of brakes, you CAN get 13's to fit,

and there are good (if small) tires available for 13's.

Seriously. Been there. Was frustrating.

find some weaves (as noted) or bottlecaps and use up your 14" tires, and then buy a set of 15" wheels that fit properly... Get the right width and offset and you won't have any issues. No reason 15's would rub or need bigger spacers than 14's, as overall diameter should stay the same, and offset will affect the rubbing more than diameter of the wheels...
