What oil is best? I know it's a very generic question.

I heard a recomendation for Valvolene 20/50 for a leaky valve seal motor. I tried it, and helped with the oil burnoff. I think it's just a little heavier.

Dan...me too! Reading threads like this one always ends up costing me money (being so easily swayed, ha).... Been using Castrol GTX 20w50 all along also, but the zinc and additive issue was background noise until I read this thread. Will probably use the Castrol I have up, and then try Valvoline. Just saw it on amazon for 50.53, free shipping, for a case of 12.
