Bring the balaclavas and bolt cutters! Raid that bus of it's Alpina parts.

If you do nothing else, please take some more pictures of the cars and post them here so we can all cry like babies.

I was curious about the strange bar sticking thru the grill on the "red" car, but your archive pictures show that it is an elevated light bar (total of 4 lights on the front).

This thread reminds me of the "Ran When Parked" articles in Classic Motorsports Magazine.

There is no original wheels. These are from a 130RS 4x130mm. These are the only pics i've found from the Bulgarian BMW forum and Bulgarian Rally forum. The cars are 300 km from me. I'm thinking how and with what to go (because here the petrol is way more expensive :) ). I'm thinking of going with train with 2-3 big bags :D

The BMW 2002 tii VIN 2719550 was manufactured on July 3rd, 1973 and delivered the same day to the BMW dealer Zeiss & Schwärzel in Mannheim. The original colour was Golf, paint code 070.

Mich are you saying, on this public forum, that you're about to get on a train and steal a blokes spare alpina parts from his stash because you can't afford what he wants for them?

I was joking about the train, but yes i'm going to do that. I've asked many times. He don't want nothing for this parts, he just don't sell them. This is not the real owner of this car. He was just a driver, the cars are owned by the Bulgarian rally federation and he don't want to sell them, because he's scared that if he do that this federation will understand for this. He owned only the Skoda, that's why he sold it.

I know it's not right, but why do i have to respect such a fool who leaved these cars like that, and didn't do anything to keep them in good condition.. and don't want to sell them to people who can bring them back to life...

Just because you put an Alpina part on a regular 02... it doesnt make it an Alpina. Just my opinion of course.

The real Alpina looks a bit far gone but good luck none the less - would be fantastic to see it revived if you can get it away from the fella.

I know i can't make my car Alpina only with those parts. But it's better to be in a real 2002 enthusiasts than in the garbage after few years...

So you bought the two cars? The yellow Alpina and the red Ti? And if yes what parts did you get with the cars? A week ago i was talking to a friend of mine, who was talking to the owner Ilia Bonev and the price was 3500 euro for the Alpina only...

No problem, just a sweet old man, and his memories ... a matter a approach really.

And a fast question - any ideas how difficult is it to find the 13" original Alpina wheels,

or in case I decide to do a replca of the center pieces in alloy or magnesium, how many people would be intersted....?

Thank you for your support .

Al

I've seen this on ebay from time to time, but if a replica can be done it will be good, i will be intereted.

Anyway, tell us more about the cars. What parts did you get with them, i've heard there are more parts that come with the car. Also i guess you bought the red one too?

So, I will keep looking, meantime will check the replica possibilities and cost.

Anyone ready to share a center piece for the mold...?

Yes I got both cars, as far as parts are concerned mostly rumors, the only

interersting thing was a TI engine on Solexes, and some other parts..

Pictures to follow shortly...
