Hey Justin & Jim,

Great to see you guys this evening. Fine 02 conversations, cold brews, good grub and nice weather -- just fantastic!

Jim, once again I'm so inspired by your 71 'original owner' 02, and the amazing condition and selected mods you've made to it. Justin, it was so great to finally meet you face-to-face - I know you'll make the progress on your 02 rebuild you're shooting for, and can't wait to see pics of your restored wheels.

The 'we were there' requisite pic.

Hey Jim and Tom,

Want to say and big "Thank You" for hosting me in Golden CO yesterday.

Had a great time and you obviously know your way around the '02!

If you two are ever in the Dallas area (or anyone else for that matter) drop a line and I will try to get the "Texas Connection" group out for a meet and greet".

Again, thanks for a great time.

Justin

We did ;)

Thanks guys, my I looked this morning and car is still blushing from all the compliments.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

Hey guys,

Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier, however, I travel extensively and have not been on the boards much in the last year.

I am the former 02Fest Chairman for the Northeast and avid supporter of 2002's as well as the vintage racing world. I have a 73 S-14 powered 2002 that is currently being wrapped up at Sports Car Restoration in Connecticut and should be out here in mid to late September. Everything except final paint has been done to include, engine swap to S-14 (slightly tweaked and with all current upgrades), 5 speed with LSD, 15 inch Rota's, Massive Brakes, complete suspension upgrade, revamped steering, restored gage package, engine bay restoration, completely new interior, alpha N, 14 speaker stereo system, etc etc, etc, etc, etc.

www.sports-car-restoration.com follow the links to 02Fest Northeast photo's and there are pictures of 02 Fest Northeast from last years event which included about 45 cars.

I would like to start some type of monthly or quarterly get together so that we can support each other and raise awareness of the older cars. I live in Park Hill and would welcome any opportunity to get together and share tidbits, stories and general good will.

Feel free to contact me on my office line at 720-858-2015, there is a good chance you will find me at High Plains in the coming weeks with my 135 and or my 944 S2.
