74 tii , in South Carolina

Health issue forces sale of my 74 tii (will hang onto the 75 for a while)

The tii is a 99% completed resto project with many parts contributions from the board. Work completed includes

Freshly Painted golf in a single stage Dupont Nason poly urethane.

Body was stripped to bare metal,self etching primer, urethan primer then top coats.

Canvas rag top sunroof installed (35x 33 I believe)

Urethane bushings and blsteins on all 4 corners. SS Ireland SS brake hoses

All new seals and hoses under the hood, Larger than stock core installed in the radiator(X country shipping costs made a larger 2 core more attractive than SI garage 3 core).

Last check on eng Compression was 175 to 185 across the board. Leak down was on the low end of the good range. Its running too well to rebuild ( if it ain't broke don't fix it) It does like a Qt every 1000 miles , Plugs burn clean but do show signs of oil burning. have never had any issues with fouling) Pertonix installed with Bosh red coil and new wires. Alternator converted to 320i version,65 amp.

Three month old recaros from Dave Varco. Behr A/C console installed and wired up. needs compressor, dryer, and hoses. AM/FM/CD player

Battery moved to trunk. Bumpers shortened tight to the body. Bavauto

Carrol Shelby wire weaves with 185 x 13 Toyos (rubber is due replacement)
