what are these rims

They look really common, but I haven't been able to find any photos of them. They came as an extra set when I bought my car last year, took them to a shop to see about having them mounted but was told that some of them are slightly out of round. The guy at the shop recommended a wheel shop that he said could get them into good shape for ~100 each.

I like how these look. Can anyone tell me what they are and whether they're worth saving?

Thanks,

Colin

Ronal makes (or made?) pretty decent wheels, decent enough that they made the (don't know if they do the modern wheels) ALPINA 13" and 15" classic turbine wheels for ALPINA. They (ALPINA) are pretty particular so I would say that Ronal had to do a pretty good job. I don't know that its worth $100/ea. to have them restored, depends on your pocket book and if you like them. Personally, I think they would look pretty darn good on any 1600/2002.

I use my powerwasher for rims these days. Works great and best of all I get to use a powerwasher. I use it any excuse I can get - dog's not so happy about that.

Those would be ronal LS's. Worth saving you could clean those up and say polish the lips and they'd go for a lot of cash on vwvortex recently saw a set being offered for around 800 possibly more....
