What an adventure ! 4000 miles in the 1600 which I affectionately dubbed

"Ol Putt Putt"

I want to thank all that helped make this voyage a drive of a life time.

Really not a painful trip, the 1600 is a great little car and was easy to drive.

suggests that this car will be very happy. if you squint your eyes you could almost imagine a village in Bavaria.

much better living arrangements for an 02 than having to be parked at the curb in a city environment....

i enjoyed inspecting that car while it was in brisbane.

I took a picture of all the lic plates from all the states represented at V&V, and I went back to the parking lot, after I found out about your adventure, but I couldn't find one from CA! This is one of my favorite one, of you holding it, for the record.

Joseph: you're welcome! Invade the Denker-McCarty home again sometime! (that goes for Mike ('02monster), Kris, & Steve too) I will be tempted to drive mine to the west coast one day. (engine work will be necess. before I attempt that!!) See you next time a car needs to be ferried over to this 1/2 of the USA.
