Finally got around to getting the '76 started ( kinda )

The distributor was absolutely cooked so i popped the pertronix and blue coil that I bought for the '72 on. Siphoned as much of the old gas out as i could ( the '72 has a drain plug in th gas tank) then toppedd it up with 94 and swung the key It started !! And ran !! Then quit ! It wasn't a fuel kind of quit but more of an electrical cut. Got it restarted a couple of more times then the rain came. All in all a great start! engine sounded nice and tight and there was no smoke so two thumbs up !!

If the rain holds off I'll take another run at it with test light and meter this afternoon.
