The 2009 Vintage Motoring Memorial Day Run

Greetings fellow classic car enthusiasts!

It's that time of year when the weather is beautiful and cars are rolling out of hibernation to hit the roads once again. If your classic is still sitting in a garage waiting for an excuse to be driven, here it is. The 2009 Vintage Motoring Memorial Day Run is coming!

Mark your calendars for Monday, May 25, and then come join your friends (and make a few new ones) at the Vintage Motoring Memorial Day Run. This "fun run" tours a variety of scenic roads ranging from canyons to country back roads. Speeds are typically a bit slower on this run than the other holiday runs, making it perfect for classic cars of any type.

The weather promises to be perfect for a spin through the countryside, so air up your tires and join your fellow car nuts for a fun day of tire-kicking and great driving roads!

We will meet at our traditional location in Malibu at 8:30 AM with a scheduled rollout of 9:30 AM.

For additional information including driving directions, meeting time, and route sheets, visit the event discussion thread in the Vintage Motoring Forums at http://www.vintagemotoring.net/forum....php?f=2&t=806

Keep 'em on the road!

wow I never knew about this forum. It seems mainly British cars though (not that anything is wrong with it). Any classic Bimmers show up? I registered with them and it looks like they are still growing. Promising future on the days we don't have Bimmer drives. I would have gone today, but I am now at JFK airport waiting for my flight back :( ...

Have fun!

I went but parked my car and rode in my dad's Lotus. I ended up getting to drive a Lotus Seven!
