Or else go with the original color or a something close to it, there is nothing that looks cheesier than popping the hood and looking at a totally different color inside. Personal opinion. But then again is your car and as far as colors sky is the limit.

Good luck

...I'm more "hen-like," but I still dig Inka.

When I built my 02 with box flares, we had it all sealed and primered. The choices were Colorado(for the purists), Corvette yellow(to be different). After looking at the car in a solid color(primer) we all agreed. This car HAS to be RED. All the chrome is just set off. Short point bumpers, waist trim, but loose the lower molding trim. We even sprayed out the Autopower rollbar to match.

Mr Dubois IS right. Color changes are a total bitch. Take the time and effort to do it right- engine compartment, trunk, jambs, underside of trunk and hood...

My 72 is Golf and beautiful. The turbo is Chamonix and the strip package really sets it off. BUT...at '02 Fest at Lime Rock in Sept there was a '02 in Inka that was just so well done, seemed you could just fall into the paint. My next '02 paint job is INKA. I do think that to set off the t-flares you need a light and/or bright color. Fortunately, you get to pick it. have a ball.
