Front Suspension Woes.....Solved, PIA to ensue

I have a feeling that I know what I did...but am in denial and need to know for sure.

The front control arm and suspension out for an R&R (ball join, susp. bushings). My question is...are the control arms side specific??? As much as I tried to keep them labeled, right before reassembly I may have swapped (left to right) them and as a result am faced with disassembly. They are now installed and the bottom of the strut hits the top of the control arm preventing full rotation of the wheel (while unloaded).

Is my problem what I fear? Did I mix up the control arms?

**Why is the bottom of my strut getting hung up on the top of the control arm (unloaded)???**

Thanks.

they are the same.......

But why is the strut bottom getting hung up on the top of the control arm limiting left-right steering movement? I do not remember this occurring before I did this work.

Oh my, I feel like a bonehead...I mounted the Ball joints on the wrong side of the control arm. Argh.....deep breath.
