I think it was better not being able to drive my car. I was on a back street and slowed down because of a speed bump. I hear this squeal then a horn look in my mirror and see the front grills of a dodge durango. The Lady driving was of course on here cell phone. good thing she was able to stop. i had taken my rear bumper off.

I need a fourth break Light i guess.

Heyaa.

I hate ignoramuses (ignorami?)in 4x4s. At the shopping centre i was toodling towards the exit when some ditzy woman swung out from a T intersection, over onto the wrong (My) side of the road and came about 18" feet from taking the nose off our touring turbo. She was moving it too. Then, just when I am about to pull into my driveway, when I get home, I indicate, and as I turn in, I hear screech and horn. A soccer mum, (swear to god, kid in front seat was in sporting uniform of some variety) in a brand new ford exploder or a pajero or something had tried to go around me on my Left. I am in australia, we drive on the left. As I was turning left into my driveway, this creates a problem. Which can be solved pretty darn easily with a 3"x2", as far as I am concerned. The no brains in a big vehicle is a bit harder, but a similar approach would still be fun. Death to stoopid SUV drivers.

MIchael Smola.

Sick of being bullied by bigass vehicles.

I got smacked in my driver's side quarterpanel by a dipshit in a Suburban 3 years ago. The only good thing that came out of the ordeal was that he hit me in what was already a decent sized dent, so after all the work was done the car looked brand new, at least on the driver's side. Oh, and the fucker's bumper fell off, along with most of the grill. hehehe

getting out of an suv into a bmw WILL NOT improve that person's driving skills. or vice versa.

suv bashing is fun and 'p.c.', but the problem is the operator.

you may complain about their size and your visibilty- deal with it. you chose that small, low car. its a good feeling knowing your wife and kids are in a vehicle that will win a collision with a drunk.

if you make an illegal lane change cuase you're mad at a suv, is that a hate crime? ;)

imho,

rj

p.s. durango is a pathetic example of suv

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
