F@#ckers wouldnt shorten my driveshaft

looks like i will give it a try myself. Going to shorten the 320 front piece a certain amount and jig it up and weld it......wish me luck. They said that the 320 flange was "butt" welded on, and they wouldnt be able to do it.....oh well. Ill let you know how it turns out. -Reid

Especialy with your car, I wouldnt risk that kind of move. A driveshaft has to be balanced and welded very well. If it isnt up to par it will break and Then your whole tranny tunnle and possibly your tranny will be Fed. Not to mention the possibility of catapulting your car don the road.(ive seen it happen at the Drag Strip!)

Reconsider and find a shop that will do the work for you.

Then it is easy. is this for a 2002? if so you need to check the center support distance.

WA, both with 800 numbers. Give 'em a call. And there's a shop here in Dayton that told me over the phone they can do it.
