32/36 solenoid wire?

I have a 32/36 carb. with a electric solenoid (CA. carb.) but the wire came off but dont know which one? Please advise what color and how to tell which single wire connects to it........Any info. are welcome, Thanks

And I ran it to the positive side of the coil for power. I'll probably hook it up that way again tomorrow or whenever if I get to that point if that is the right way to do it.

primary idle jet hole), any hot lead that's ignition switched will work. If your car originally had a two barrel Solex (late '72 or later) there was a black wire that's part of the wiring harness that wasn't used on the US cars that is ignition switched and works just fine. Otherwise, just run a jumper from the low tension + side of the coil.

I just picked up off the wire that runs to the elec. choke to run to the anti-diesel solonoid.
