Steve @ blunttech is the nicest parts vendor I've ever dealt with. Hooked me up with OEM BMW window seals that I need to get my little red back on the road. Definitely a cool guy.

Had a bad experience with a seller named sail laser. I was buying a bunch of parts from his part out and this included some h4 headlights. I had a cousin of mine pick up the parts as he lived a lot closer and he visited frequently. The h4 turned out to be sealed beams and I tried contacting him and he went MIA. Avoid business with him.

He is now known as enthusiastgarage on the faq FIY

Long time listener, first time caller!!!!

Purchased from Blunt for the first time. Got the spring coil pads.

A rather obscure item. Bottom line is this. Steve got them and delivered in a good time frame. He was constantly at the ready to answer ALL questions in record time. Gotta tell ya, Steve has GREAT customer service!

Now I see what all the fuss is about. Highly, highly recommend Steve/Blunt-tech.

BTW, the name Blunt, is that origin cultural in nature?

Cudos for Advanced Distributors in Minneapolis. Quoted two week turn around I had the dizzy in my hands in 10 days, cleaned, recurved and adjusted perfectly.

Made a huge difference in the running of the car, as Mike says, 90% of carburetor problems are with ignition.

I want to give a shout out to Ronald aka Robertrob85 on the FAQ. I have had several transactions with him. He is an outstanding FAQ member and parts seller. In addition to very reasonable prices, you can trust his honest, accurate descriptions and that he will follow through on delivery as promised. Highly recommended!

Just purchased a pair of trunk side panels from Esty. Perfect fit, prompt service, very fair price - and they're beautiful.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive, well-preserved body. You should skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body totally used up, screaming "WOO HOO! What a ride!!"

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
