Both good sellers.

KCdonahue.

I got a bunch of stiff from him and he's semi-local so I picked them up in person. Good parts, good prices, friendly guy.

Jherko.

I've had a couple of transactions with him. Good parts, fast shipping, honest descriptions.

After many good transactions on the board here I have to report that Jesse Parra is not someone to be trusted.

He posted a picture of a pedal box, which did not show the top mount where it attaches to the booster support. We agreed on a price and when I received it, over a month later, I saw that the top had been sawed off. I contacted him and he refused to issue a refund. I offered to send the part back but he wants nothing to do with it. It's a shame.

I ordered a set of the 2002tii special tools from Aric Vander Werff (asvander).

Tools are of excellent quality. Fairly priced and promptly shipped. I was especially happy to finally own one of the 85mm linkage measurement tools. All in all, an excellent transaction. Thanks Aric,

I ordered a set of fiberglass flares from Mich. I was very hesitant in doing so because of the simple fact that he lives in Bulgaria! I researched the site and it seemed as though he's an honest guy. Having said that, it has been over 6 months and I've never received the flares. I don't know if it's the post-Soviet mail system or what. I've asked him for a refund and that has also gone no where (but he's still working it). All I can say is beware.

I just received a (free) trunk mat from her this week. She is a pleasure to deal with. No carpet wars (sorry Al) bs here! I had won a free interior carpet set at Bo's gtg in Eureka Springs in April. I decided to go for the trunk mat instead as my carpet just isn't that bad after 35 yrs. of use. It consists of very nice material and looks great in the trunk. She packed it well and she has been very straight-up w/me. Recommended.

Have to agree about Esty. My carpet kit is still holding up. Mikeinwoolridge gave me a great ashtray, kbmb02 has helped me out numerous times! Blunt has also helped me as well, he's great, I still have to return something to him I just remembered. Dave Varco has been helping me out recently as well and he has been great.

Just received my dash from celk06 (Conner) and it certainly exceeds my expectations. Great to do business with, and certainly speedy both in his emails and his shipping. Now...if he'd only come install it for me...

THANX !

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
