Another great transaction with DenverTii.  Got seat rails, a gas pedal, shift knob, and a trunk latch all shipped together for a deal, arrived 3 days after shipping.

I see another positive review for him on this page, have had nothing but good experiences myself as well.

Thanks Bryce!

On February 29 I sent a member a $25 gifted payment for a part. In the PayPal notice and the immediate follow-up email I very clearly asked for confirmation of shipment with my address in both communications. I heard noting. On Friday I followed up with an email asking for a response. My intent was to give him an opportunity to respond in two days. If not I would summarize my experience here in the feedback thread. The $25 doesn't matter to me. My disappointment is that it is the first time after many purchases on 2002FAQ that someone did not honor their obligation. The two days have passed. His name is Naif Alyamani (member ID is "Ohtwotii") and given the timing I am sharing his name here in case you dealt with the same individual. I hope not and perhaps Mr. Alyamani has been consumed by other priorities. I consider, however, that seven days with zero communication is enough. I will be providing negative personal feedback as well.

EDIT: The above was written on March 6th. Today is March 12.

Mr. Alyamani and I exchanged one email note after I posted the paragraph above. In the email Mr. Alyamani explained that he had not shipped yet because he was batching shipments to send at once. He also questioned why I would write what I did over $25. I explained that until that note he had not communicated with me despite multiple notes from me. I assured him, however, that if I received the chrome wiper I would retract what I wrote. I did not hear from him again even with another polite request for confirmation of shipment and tracking information. Moments ago an unexpected USPS package arrived. It was from Mr. Alyamani. In the package was the chrome wiper as shown in the photograph in his ad. I, therefore, retract the negative feedback and will be changing that shortly on his personal page. A most unusual buying experience.

Same here. I was wondering if anyone will ruin his reputation for just $10?

Bought a Stahl header from FAQer 2002haus.  As usual, the price was very fair, shipping was prompt, packaging more than adequate to protect the item, and communication stellar.  Always a pleasure to do business with Rob and 2002haus.

I've had successful dealings with these people recently on miscellaneous small items...

adawil2002, subie1, tiretool2002, rbutler914 and o2 nut

They where all good communicators, sent what they advertised and were fair to deal with.

thanks, all :)

I made a few purchases from IE. The first time, decent service, The 2nd time everything went smooth (not really any interaction). The 3rd good customer service!

+ Recently I'm been emailing AceAndrew for some support on a product which I didn't even purchase directly from IE, I inherited it with the car and he has been super helpful! It's great to receive such service.

Seems they improve every time

I don't know how to give official feedback for a purchase that shows up in the profile, but I bought a rear strut mount from danco_

Easy transaction, very responsive to forum messages, overall 10/10 interaction with him.

Thanks!

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
