WIPER MOTOR WILL NOT TURN OFF

The Auto Park tabs inside the motor have broken. See image attached.

Search Auto Park and you will find more info.

You can still by the part needed to fix it - W&N (Germany) part #61611351969 (a dealer or Blunt may be able to source as well) - but most people fit a 2nd hand motor.

Note if going 2nd hand there is an early style and late style electric plug connection (early is 3 spade plugs, late is round molded socket/plug). As a temp fix add a simple toggle switch to the live wire going to the motor (yellow I think) that way for wipers you hit the toggle and use the regular switch for the speed - Its worked that way in my car for 10 years :)
