can 02's and 320i's share same shift knobs?

Im thinking about shift knobs.....Ive never removed the aftermarket Momo knob off my new to me 02

...are 02 knobs threaded?.....and any1 know if the 320's are threaded as well......as opposed to push on.

duh... I just realized w/ the 5 spd conversiosn the car has...Im sure it has the 320 push on style then!.........I need to look at it!!!!

Not always... my 5 speed conversion shift lever is threaded.

02's were usually threaded unless someone changed to a momo "style" which uses a set screw to hold it in place.

The '77-'79 320i used a threaded lever/knob.

When they switched to the O/D 5-speed they also switched from threaded to push on.

Plenty of options when doing a 5-speed conversion.
