I can't seem to find anything at all for 6v vehicles....

Also, where can I get a mechanical clutch? Mine seems to be okay but still - someone has to sell this stuff, right?

I have similar difficulties finding early-specific parts for my 67 12v 1600.

Although I hate to lose the smooth shifting and zippy rear end ratio of the early car, I am hatching a plan to change the entire drive train and suspension to later components.

That's a shame. My generator, starter, mechanical clutch and long neck are all in good shape. I just need a coil, points, ect. I could also use any spares. I had a hard enough time finding a 1600 longblock. When I got the car it was a 6v mechanical clutched 2L.

Pat,

What about the VW people? They have to have to have 6V coils and points.
