Need to change the carburetor

Need to change the carburetor, planning to change for a 32/36 or 38,

but my car is (1970 – Solex - 1bbl)

If I go for a 32/36 or 38 I need to change the manifold also.

I check some places on the web and is $500 to $600, (32/36 or 38) + instalation.

I don’t know if is worth it or just by the Weber 1bbl for $160.00.

hi

Thanks for the pic but this one is:

Manual Choke or Water Choke or Electric Choke??

To put in the simplest terms for ease of recognition...

In his first picture, there's a round white thing with a brass connector on it; that's contains the spring mechanism for the electric choke.

A water choke would have two small pipes coming out of either side of a round metal object... at the same spot.

Thanks for the explanation but I don’t know much about mechanic.

My need to be a Manual Chock, that’s all I know.
