I've got the same frame rail issue with my '73tii. Not as bad as that, but it is rusted at the bottom of the rail. PO stated that the battery leaked and caused the problem. Probably true as there was no other rust anywhere.

Did your body guy cut out the old and weld in a frame rail from a donor? I'm curious as I got a frame rail and driver's floor pan from the PO that he bought from 2002AD. I don't need the floor pan as the rust is contained to the frame rail.

Any feedback on the work done to the frame rail would be appreciated!
