Technical question on e30 323i

I have an '84 323i, it starts up and runs. Once it reaches normal operating temperature, the rpm's drop down from being at idle and the it cuts off. Any ideas on what could it be? It has the original 2.3 litre engine with a mild cam.

Try looking here. Possibly the air side of your warm up cycle is stuck or not working proplerly??? When the motor warms up the fuel and air are supposed to calm down - if the fuel does but the air does not then you could stall because of this. It's a horrible description... does it make sense? It's #11 in the photo from realoem.
