new and improved seating

I am currently restuffing and upholstering some extra seats, I went for a houndstooth pattern for the inserts. Here is my progress.

yes, i am doing them all myself. it is a pain, but worth it. If you get half way through and realize you have made a mistake, you have to start all over again, very frustrating.

The seat looks great. Have you considered adding more padding along the egdes? I'm considering doing that to my seats just to make them a lottle more comfortable.

I am sewing with a heavy duty sewing machine, not quite an upholstery machine, but also not for crafts.

I am going to add a little more padding on the edges to rise them up a little bit. There is 2 inch foam as is right now, planning to make it 3 on the edges. I did remove all the horsehair, there wasnt much left, it just made a big mess.
