Came across a set of Koni Special "D" rear shocks on a Tii badged '02 at the pick 'n' pull today... Were Koni's ever stock equipment? I have my doubts as to the authenticity of the Tii, but who knows...

Anyone know anything about these shocks? (They're orange) Koni Special "D" 80C-1868

I also came across a set of struts with some monster diameter inserts. They look almost twice the diameter of my stock inserts...

I haven't had a chance to pull the cartridges, but I'm wondering if anyone has the part numbers for the Tii strut assemblys...

Any obvious differences between the two?

Thanks in advance!

Koni Special D are oil (not gas) shocks of high quality. They are adjustable by compressing all the way (by removing the bump stops) and twisting. Koni can rebuild them for you but I'm not sure that's much less than they are new.
