Wiring a Bosch H4 please advise

My euro H4's finaly arrived. Need advise on wiring. Would I need to upgrade wiring on the light socket? Tried searching...thanks

Plug and play unless you're running higher wattage bulbs. In that case you'll need a relay.

That is most definitely a Thursday night project, or maybe even this weekend.

I made up a separate harness that plugs into one of the headlight connectors and also utilizes two relays. No cutting wires, no drilling holes, unplugs in an instant to go back to stock or to troubleshoot.

Your parts shopping list will be:

2 relays- 20-30amp, 4 pin

1 radio shack project box (plastic container with a metal cover 2"x4"x1")

2 three-prong headlight connectors. Get these from an salvaged car.

cutting the original harness. I also understand that Susquehana Motor sports in Fleetwood PA now has harnesses that do not require the harness to be cut.

I just hate to see someone try and make heads or tails out of wiring that was butchered 3 owners prior. So, anytime you can add something and not cut wires it will make your (or the next owner) life easier to put things back to stock for a starting point.

Ask Armond- "OK. What the heck is ~this~ red wire here for? And what are these three white wires doing? Is this a wire nut under all this electrical tape?" I saw some of his wiring nightmare firsthand. Not the worst I've seen, but still needed a lot of cleaning up.

Steve, my wiring is night and day. It's not like what it was. I pulled a total of 4 wirenuts. Anyway, let me know if this weekend would work. Off to trick or treat.
