Please excuse the horrible photo. Sorry if you all think this is dumb but I just had to scratch my head and wonder why. This was a new one to me - clever but odd. It drew blood three times before I figured out what the eff was stabbing me and where it was coming from.

Anyone have any ideas???

Yeah - the 17mm bolt that's a PITA to get at. After it cut me two or three times I tried to pull it out and then realized that it was WELDED on to the nut. This was on an E30 318i in a junkyard and the starter was very new so the mechanic must have just gotten frustrated and pulled an "I'll show you" move.
