Bill won first in class in testerday's Euro Autofest show at the Zentrum. Well deserved award for a beutifully done car.

Second was mone by a Chamonix '74 owned by Bob Cox and third was won by a 3200 Barique Angel from Nashville (it also won People's Choice).

Here are pics of the top three taken by Humberto Marti:

Met another FAQ member, Speedwell, who had his turbo-flared beauty at the show also :

I had to leave early, so I was not able to share much time with the participating FAQers, but it's always good to meet them!

congrats bill! guess you'll have to get used to winning. time to upset the concours folks at o'fest next year.

so did you win the raffled 02, harry? i never got a call from them telling me to come pick up my winnings.

Don't know who won it. Haven't gotten a call either. Bill and Humberto left yesterday, but maybe some of the other board members there can let us know.

Did get a cool '02 Group cap from Humberto, though!

It was a nice event and brought back good memories of 02-02-02.

That trip in 02-02-02 was in the smokey yellow little car when no one would drive behind me because it smoked soooo bad.

Bob Cox's Chamonix car was done very nicely by the Werke Shop. The Lane Museum's 3200S Angel was a hoot! It was nice to see James, Susan, David and Laura doing the wave on the parade drive.

The highlight of the event for me was to see Speedwell (a very polite 16 year old and Ben, another polite young man there driving and working on 2002s. The younger fellows are picking up the mantle.

The other highlight was the Mrs. going with me.

Way to go Bill.....Congratulations! Hey, I see you have front fogs mounted with the original BMW style brackets that I have been searching for (that go through the grill slats)...now "that's" the way to do it right!!! Where did you get those brackets?
