If one is planning to put in a Tii dist., Bosch Red-Coil and a MSD6a or crane would it not be best to put Bosch Platniums pugs in. Technically it's more electric that a mechanical system.

Your thoughts!

It's my understanding that plugs should be chosen based on two factors, heat and resistance. There are two ranges, both of heat and of resistance for a given type of plug, meaning you can have a high resistance (for high performance systems) and a low or high temperature. Just like you can have a high temperature plug with low or high resistance. The ignition system will probably give suggestions or maybe someone who understands this better will fill in the holes.

I tried switching to the Bosch Platinums once at tune-up time. Didn't like 'em at all, made the car run poorly in comparison - so after I week I switched right back to the tried-n-true Bosch Supers. I have the MSD 6A, MSD Blaster 2 coil, & Tii Dist w/Pertronix. My experience - YMMV.

Where we goin’? … I’ll drive…
