Does anyone here have a wiring schematic for a 1976 2002 that they are willing to email of fax a copy to me? Or what is the best manual for 2002 repiars that would include his information?

Anything that was emailed or faxed to you would probably be too small to be of any use. There's a lot of wires in there, all designated by color and wire size, and they'd be too small to read. Try contacting Bob Murphy @

He has diagrams, shipped either roller or folded, that are about 22" x 36" and are year specific. Price is reasonable, and, because of the size, they're readable.

You can never have too much information.

In addition to the info from Bob, I like the drawings from Prospero's Garage. www.slash5.com They DO NOT replace the factory schematics as they don't have the detail inside each component, but they are damn easy to follow. Very helpful when you are trying to see quickly where that brown/green wire goes.

The Haynes books used to have good schematics, but after so many printings, the detail is hard to see.

I took my Haynes manual in to Kinkos and they are going to blow the wiring diagram up for me to a 3'x6' or 4'x6' whichever one I chose at the time. They'll give me the scanned images on CD when I pick up the poster-sized one. I'll post it, or be happy to send it in to Steve or the FAQ or just email it to you then. I think it will probalby be a pdf. I'll post a "who wants?" thread when I get it on Tuesday.

I just noticed your from the Bay area.

Go Slugs. I don't really know much about the school but I like the mascot. Do you ever see for sale any of the student-designed Fiat Slug shirt like the one Travolta wore in the ending scenes of Pulp Fiction? I want to buy one but don't know where to get one. All the school has on their site is a newer design.

My Haynes manual purports to cover through 1977, but the "typical" wiring diagram provided is way too generic for my needs.

Awesome I bought a manual and dug up some other info but the copies you have are appreciated. I found the shirt I wanted at a store called Bay Tree Books but I have not ordered it yet.
