chrome polishing?

I just picked up a really nice Hubert Hahne styled steering wheel for my 2002. I found it on ebay.de..anyway, there are some very fine scratches in the metal spokes...

does anyone know the best way to polish these up? it is similar to the spokes on a nardi wheel. i just don't want to scratch it anymore.

I would try either 0000 steel wool or burnishing compound (try it on the back of the spokes first though just in case)

I didn't pay much attention to the show..... but on Mythbusters the other day they tested all kinds of myths about the many uses of Coca-Cola. They weren't really impressed by any of its supposed uses, except that it was actually good at polishing chrome. I don't know the procedure they used, but it might be worth checking into...
