Nagging thougths of a Cabriolet

I sold one last spring. I loved it. I didn't worry about it like my real cab. It was peppy, fun to drive and RED. I took it to Vintage at the Vinyards the last 2 years. The new owner picked it up at the last one. After I sold it, I wished I hadn't.

Thanks for the great feedback guys.

I may still look into a conversion but I am really interested to see if I can find an original. It would be great (like Andy) to have both - a city and a country car.

Thanks again.

Has any done a cabriolet conversion to their beloved 2002? A good one?

I saw that hack job on e-bay last month and it got me thinking. How come there isn't a "kit" available or someone doing it in the states?

Would an e30 ic be a good donor candidate?

TIA,

I think they always look dodgy without the more inclined screen angle. Of course you could acheive this by using a Touring screen, A pillars, and door frame but like the man said, after all that you might as well track down the real deal.

Lol, you win and I am sure we can make a deal! Sam might have it on it's way to AR this weekend. I am hoping to drive it on the friends drive at the end of the month. Speaking of tourings, does anyone have the photo of the touring that was converted to a cabriolet?
