Ingraham radiator installed this weekend

Using the temp gauage as a clock analogy: If 1:00 is hot, my '73tii usually ran somewhere around 2:00 and would creep near 1:00 during the hot Arkansas days. Something you don't want on a rebuilt engine.

I installed Curt Ingraham's radiator in the car this weekend (& changed the oil since I had already removed the air filter housing) and now the car runs at 4:00. INCREDIBLE! ! !

The beauty of this radiator is that it is the same radiator as original except it has been recored as a 3 core. So there are no retrofits and looks very clean. A great investment for the increased longevity of a 33 yr old car.

Thanks Curt!

Where does one find an Ingraham radiator? (sorry, I've been out of "the scene" for a while.)

I'm putting a 320 radiator into my car, but I'd rather have an improved stocker. I still have my stocker, but it's pretty thrashed.

I've been running a Curt radiator for over 4 years now. It works as good as it looks if not better.

Curt is one of the 02 community members that are involved in making the cool-aid. He is involved not only because he cares about this bmw model but also the camaraderie shared among the 02 caretakers.

And Curt stands by his product.

My replacement sprung a pinhole leak at the top tank after a few weeks. Luckily, not on the Melee! I had a spare rad, so I just had Curt repair the 3 row. It came back looking brand new.
