Too bad I missed out on all the fun. We'd been havin some earthquakes pretty frequently the last couple months before I left. I never thought one that big would happen, but still it's not really a big deal as far away as Oahu.

If I were over there, it might be a little dangerous, since I was living on a loose mountainside (Tantalus) thats been breaking loose some lately. But it sounds like everything is just fine though. A little shaking and power outage fun.

My dad's cousin is actually in Waikiki right now. I gave him a ton of advice on stuff to do while he was on vacation, its too bad I left before I knew he was gonna stop by. I'm sure he's OK, and haven't called since they said phones would be busy,

Oh, and I couldn't check my e-mail yesterday because there was no power at UH's server. But now its back online.
