Extended tip silber spark plugs

"Was looking at the E-9 board where there was a recommendation to use the extended nose plug on the 6cyl application. If the combustion chambers are the same in both the e9 and the 02, it begs the question, Anyone try these plugs in an 02? Any interference problems?"

I read the above post with some interest since I inherited some long nose spark plugs from my 630 (W9LRS? W8LRS?). I am currently running W8dc bosch plugs without any issues, but am curious as to the use of these plugs. Unfortunately, I havent been able to locate the post/site that reportedly recommends the use of these plugs.

Please, you dont have to tell me to stick with what works. I'm merely wondering out loud. If there are any advantages, I'd sure like to know about them.

If it matters, I am running a CD ignition system, .045 gap, red coil and get 25mpg city/hwy.
