Hello, has anyone tried the BMP dash cover? It's seems pretty affordable (like $90 or so).

I've test fitted it, and decided to just hold off and find a nice replacement dash one day, or just fix mine - since the crack on mine was not that bad. Consequently, I have a BMP dash cap looking for a new home that I've not listed yet. With the CCA discount, I paid less than $90 actually. Regarding fit, from 5 feet it looks like a new dash, but if you start poking at it, you'll know it's a cap.

i used one because i want'd to change the color and keep the orignal dash original....i'm very pleas'd with the fit and look...close up, far away, any angle, it looks great

a 69, as you know, has the 2 piece dash...the caps are moulded to fit the one piece dashes...i just pik'd up another dashcap to see if it will work on a 69 dash...in a couple of weeks or so, i'll let everyone know how the caps fit the 2 piece dashes

i see no reason why it won't...there will be a slight void of contact at the rear where the top and bottom meet because it's not as rounded as the 1 pc but i still think, if properly attached, it should work

a 69, as you know, has the 2 piece dash...

A 69 should have a 3pc dash. However the dimentions arn't that different from the 2pc. I guess the main diff is that the inst cluster is seperate from the top half. Also, some 3pc dashes didn't have ridges on the parcel shelf area and I guess some did like the 2pc.

I think for the money the caps work well. The only down side is the feel of plastic insted of vinal.

Yeah, my 69 is a 3 piece with the ridges in the parcel shelf.
