what a freakin job this has been! For a couple of painting novices we did alright! Only took 7 full days!!!

I simply cannot belive my car today....after 7 years of this project it finnaly looks the part!

I NEVER want to paint a car again! I can't stand the sight of sandpaper or the smell of bondo dust!

That said I had the most incredible sense of accomplishment today!

one of many with this project!

Huge work but seeing the result gives you a nice feeling - right?

And now further from that point the work is a lot nicer when you really see something finished every time. Thumbs up!

i plan on it as my car looks like yours did beforehand(but rust free!!)

what wheels are those?(the black turbine like ones)

they are 2 piece alpina style 15x7 made by wed racing - they are from back in the day not a current model.

Since I have to run 13" in vintage racing I will be selling them soon...

that is GREAT work and I am extremely envious of you. i can't believe you did all that within 7 days. you did say you had a helper? i suppose that helps keep you motivated. i've been prepping mine for paint since July. there were days i had to drag myself to spread bondo only to sand it off. lather, rinse, repeat.... lather, rinse, repeat or so the bottle says.

did you use one gun for primer, paint and clear? is it a compressor-powered Accuspray? i just got finished using my $15 ebay detail gun and absolutely loved it for what it did. i have a real problem up front getting the nooks and crannies with a full size unit.
