Can anyone tell me what these are, and where they go?

I found them while cleaning up after my 4 speed swap....They're less than an inch long.... I hate taking something apart then reassembling it only to find a handful of bolts, nuts, and washers left over....

on the long bar that latches the hood. Look by the cable and you'll see one. There are several along that rod.

Isn't that the dowel pin that goes in the shift rod?

Always use rolled pin punches to remove and install or you will mushroom the ends. Sears has a nice set

Yep, roll pins.

Sears has the proper roll pin punches with the little tip on the end? I'll have to get a set for home to go with my metric pin punches. I was just there to pick up a 5.5mm socket for the trim nuts.

I know they don't go to my hood, because I didn't remove it...and as far as the shift support....I dunno...I assembled it without and it seems to work fine....I hope I don't find out the hard way what they go to when I'm driving down the road...

Paul in VA sent me a pair...I just rented the spring compressor today, and I should be on my way sometime next week....no time for 02'ing this weekend, I've got the Soulard Oktoberfest/Pumpkin farm activities to attend in St. Louis. Lot's and Lot's of german beer!!

I hope to get it running before next weekend. There's huge local pumpkin festival nearby and I thought the 02 would get some attention having the perfect color scheme for the occasion....
