Positive feedback for Dave Varco's stuff.

I bought the door panel kits a few years ago. I didn't find it exactly short & sweet but it was a good, very helpful product. I'd reccommend it too. Also bought big brake kit from Varco. I might could have done it a little cheaper by scrounging but I'd do it again. Another fine product.

Yup Yup...

He's good people. He also knows his stuff... Like when he told me NOT to grind down the caliper (Volvo calipers) because they are thin. Only slot the bolt holes to slide the caliper in further on the wheel... What did I do? Bought myself a BRAND NEW set of calipers! Ground down exactly how Dave said not to do... drove the car about a block, calipers exploded, brake fluid everywhere....

Shoulda listened to Dave...

He gave me the same advice just yesterday when we chatted about whether his big brake kit would fit behind my 13" wheels. He even admitted that Ireland's big kit has the bolt holes already relocated to provide better clearance (for $75 more)! Now that's honesty.

I'll add my $.02 worth...Dave's a straight shooter. No bull, just honesty and he does good work. If I decide to have anyone do Recaro's for Hugo in blue vinyl, Dave's atop my list! I bought new Recaro bottom support straps from Dave several years ago and the service was excellent...and reasonably priced also.

Happy '02ing,

John
