Who was selling stainless trim retainers?

Can I buy them directly from you?

i'll get slam'd for saying this...but what's new about that...seems nobody else cares to mention the obvious...

i find it deceitful to make a statement like "i sell them" when in fact, you don't sell them...you place one set at a time on ebay and auction them...people in need can not buy them when they need them, they must hope that they are the fortunate one's that are able to come out on top of the frenzy at the time you decide to part with a set

i have much respect for your abilities & right to do what you want, but none for your claims that you sell them

I agree with you esty, at first glance it appears that ebay is the only way to get a set from me (CPI), but here is the real situation:

1. CPI needs ten feedbacks to get "Buy It Now" ability. I have over 100+ personally, but CPI has only one so far. I don’t want to combine my personal feedback (user: gt320i) with CPI's. We re-list as soon as a kit ends so that there is always a supply available (people seem to realize that and bid accordingly). Once we have B.I.N. customers can instantly purchase one, and another one will go up.

2. We set a reasonable price based on what people will pay for a kit and what it costs to build one. We don’t want a kit to go much beyond $40 (a fair price) regardless of how many are listed.

3. We do have a web site (www.cpiauto.com) linked to from within our auctions. We have sold a few items via requests made outside of ebay and are more than willing to do so. When someone requests a kit I literally build it that night and try to ship it out the next day. Items up for auction on ebay are in stock and ready to ship at the close of the auction.

Our policy is not to delay return correspondence or building and shipping out orders. Our customers truly come first; I don’t want to sell a whole lot of nothing and keep people waiting weeks for their order to materialize. We want everyone to have a pleasant buying experience and really love our products; the motivation behind them being the long term preservation of our cars.
