3rd brake light on your Roundie

After seeing Ponyboys' car and reading through some of the post on his thread I started getting a little concerned about the visibility of my brake lights.

I'd like to find one that doesn't look like a spaceship land on my rear dash. I like the round one mounted on the bumper but can't seem to find any?

What have you guys done with your cars? Pics would be great and even mentioning where you got it.

Thanks!

I'll send you pics of my third light. I bought them from e-bay made by optilux from Germany. I got two and traded the other to Jerry. Can't post the photos here. It wont let me.

Thanks Bri. I've always wanted to give the moon to everyone. :)

How easy was it to mount?

A guy pulled up beside me at the gas station the other day and told me my taillights were completely out on my tii. I checked and they were working. When I got to my office the first thing I did was get online and order the 3rd brake light.

the interior of the lenses and refurbishing the reflectors. The easy way to do the reflectors is to snack on a bag of potato chips or the like that are packaged in a bag with a silver mylar interior. After you've eaten the chips, cut the bag up, wash and tack the mylar side up to the reflector with a coupe dots of glue.

You can also use aluminum foil, but there's always the chance of the foil slipping and shorting out the bulb...the mylar won't.

cheers

Or, if you dont want to go through the eating of a few bags of potato chips just to get your lenses all pretty, you can go down to your local supermarket or party store and buy a mylar balloon or two and carve those up instead.

I've also heard of people having good luck with Air Conditioning ducting tape.
