I've seen two kinds of mudflaps;one with a plastic white/blk roundel attached to a smaller mudflap and another larger one with the roundel embossed? onto it...Are these specific for different years? Just wondering...my 73 has the former on from PO. One is pretty beat up and i'm wondering about a replacement

thanks

NOT YEAR SPECIFIC - supplier specific - the outside company producing this accessory for BMW.

The photo of the under-arse of my car shows the 'plastic riveted'

roundel version. The shape and brackets to mount them is identicle. Just depends on which version your lucky enough to find. Happy Hunting.

if anyone has the riveted roundel kind in good condition i'd buy them...i think they look great. i like the smaller look than the imprinted version but those are ok also.

.....I found my original BOX-O-New Old Stock and used flapes of both types at Import Carlisle, PA. in the Spring time. Great swap meet with huge european car club gathering Thursday eveneng through Saturday afternoon. Sometimes great treasures to be found in wet boxes under tables and tarps just waiting for you. I actually bought 02 mud flaps first, then found a crusty 2002 to mount them on years later!

happy hunting.
