How can one tell the Comp. Ratio on "Piano Head" P

I just pulled the head off Lola, everything looks good and discovered I have Piano Head Pistons.

Is there a way by markings or a certain size in shape of the crown?

SB a stamp on the piston that shows bore or piston diameter. From there you can tell more things. There are a few different versions so take a look here: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/content/view/46/32/ on the FAQ about pistons.
