engine and drivetrain Baseline Jetting for 40 DCOE

I know it depends on the engine.

I know it depends an many many other different variables....

All Im asking for is a starting point for a set of 40 DCOEs

Engine is an M10, 40 over, balanced, blue printed, mild cam, 7400 redline.

I found a set with 130 main jets, F11 emusion tubes, 210 air correctors, 50F11 (idle jets I think), and 30 chokes.

I lent my Weber book to a friend who is currently looking frantically all over his house for it. But for now, I have you.

Based on a tune for best power on an engine making peak HP at 5500 RPMS it gave me the following:

Weber 40

34mm - 35 mm chokes

140 mains

180 airs

55 f9 idles

40 pumps

4.5 aux venturis

Thats a pretty great program. Have you ever tried the baseline numbers in a car to see how close the program is?

Yep I have compared, the program is designed to provide baseline numbers but in the case of my race car it was bang on, so it is definately a good starting point.

120 mains, 180 airs...

with 32's I run 115/120 mains, 180 air

and 36's it's 125 mains 150 air...
