Hot Engine! Those trumpets really set off the BMW power plant as a racer. What are you going to do with it in Wales? Any rallys over there, would be a killer rally car or auto-x car. Race against the old school Escorts, Minis, Alphas, etc. How much HP do you think you'll be getting? What kind of injection system is it? Also is that a turbo manifold? Looks cool, nice pics.

I rally it in post historics against said escorts and porsches.

My old engine made 148bhp at the flywheel and this makes just over 200bhp.

I hated being mid table while driving the door handles off the car so this should rattle a few of their cages!!

Not a turbo manifold just one that clears the RHD steering box!!

Injection is based on the Alpina Slide throttle setup.

Will you be able to close the hood over those trumpets? Looks like it will be a TIGHT fit.

Nice setup...

It looks different though from the Alpina slide throttle system I have...

When you say "based on", do you mean that is the basis or that it is similar to... If the latter, what make did you use?

What camshaft do you have?

Is your Kugelfischer cam modified?

If so, who did this for you?

Do you use tii injectors or others and if so, which? (I've got others in my slide throttle setup)...

The setup is by a company called Ajec racing in the UK. At the moment its all I know!!
