Opinions on this replacement elec fuel pump for tii's

I subscribe to Moss Motors - my brother-in-law has a '73 MG TD...and I received a sale notice on the following fuel pump. It is for a Jaguar, but I e-mailed them requesting the output and they responded quickly with the specs. Apparently, it is rated at 130 liters per hour and is rated at 3 bar pressure. That computes to about 43.5 psi. I believe a tii pump puts out around 38 psi (if my memory serves me)....what do you all think about this pump as a spare or replacement pump? $137.50 is certainly a whole lot less expensive than a new BMW tii pump at aoundt $400! Just a thought.

It's for 12 volt systems too. Looks like it would fit nicely.

Mesa Performance has one for $121.50 exchange, it's rebuilt but I've had one in my tii for a few years with no problems. You can't go wrong with the price. it's an original fuel pump that has been rebuilt.

Keith Kreeger did another alternative (5 series fuel pump) when he got sticker shock at the tii fuel pump price

Interesting.....thanks! I have a back-up original tii pump already, but with two tii's I can't be too safe! :-) Having a new or rebuilt pump would be my preference.

I remember re-habing Hugo's pump and fuel lines when I restored him, but getting down under there to do fuel pump work isn't the easiets job!

I'm running the five series pump. Had it installed @ A-1 Imports in San Rafael. There are some connectors to change and you need to make a collar so it will fit in the bracket, but it works just fine...
