I believe it was only 5 months ago when I used to believe I was crazy because I loved my car so much. I thought I was mad because I called him "Karl" and because nobody else understood. It was at this time I didn't know anybody else who owned a 2002 and I didn't realize that all the owners of these cars acted the way I do.

Today, I am proud to know all of you and have your helpful advice. And the big advantage I get is seeing pictures of your cars and getting tips from you all. Until this time, I didn't know anybody who owned a 2002 and currently, I am very close to four other owners, including my boyfriend, and they aren't even registered on this forum! I have owned Karl now for over two years. Last month, he got transfered into my name and just two days ago, he got his license plates - KAR-02L. I feel a sense of satisfaction when I drive down the road knowing that I own something so wonderful. I hope all of you who read this recognise how special your 2002 is and that you care for it as much as I do. It's strange to think now that if I didn't own Karl, I wouldn't have the majority of the things that I do now. Plus, I have a feeling I'd be really, really boring!

Just because you found some people who think like you, it doesn't mean your normal. I love my cars too, and I know I'm crazy! At least that is what my family and friends say when they walk into my garage. My cars are my therapy, and I think the yuppy, new euro car driving, Starbucks coffee drinking, pretentious scum I'm surrounded by are the crazy ones!

Remember, normalcy is only a majority concept.

ooo whats the other golf one on the right? Looks nice and low!

The car on the right is my competition for this year's Show & Shine in two weeks! It is the exact replica of Karl except it's a manual. It's a little bit titier than Karl is but that's only because it's been owned by BMW club members for so long. Only three owners! Now it's owned by the seceritary's husband, Arthur, who also races for Peak Performance.

After looking at this picture again, I need to either:

1) Buy a camera and stick it inside the glove box for occasions like these

2) Get a new phone with a better camera in it!

This thread is not about Miguel, it is about me and Karl! Besides, I come from Harrisonburg and you Williamsburg folk are too far away. Send him an email, he'll like that
