I don't buy it... I say something stinks about that car - but what do I know... Too much wear in the driver's seat for one, and why would you ever buy and install a radio system like that and not intend to drive the car? Also there are too many little dings & dents on the hood, shock towers, etc.

Betcha the "PURISTS" can pick out like 1,000 things wrong with it - (or tell me where to go because I'm wrong)

Well, everything looks good EXCEPT the wheels.

1) What happened to the center cap BMW stickers? They are all faded and turning brown. If the car was garaged, they wouldn't be like that.

2) Where's the chrome rings that go inside the rims? Karl still has 3 out of the 4 from the factory. Again, if it was garaged, they should still be there. They don't come off that easy.

Something they thought they could sneak by us!

- red fuel hose?

- one of the rubber washers on the air canister mounts is missing

- radiator cap doesn't look right

Finally, it is probably just the lighting, but that car looks like alpine white to me and not chamonix. The spare tire well looks right though, so the photos may just be over-exposed.

Yes.

I think it has more than 4k on the clock.

Maybe I'd believe 104k?

Original tires?

Those would have flat spots the size of Kansas. Even if it were stored up on jacks, I wouldn't trust 30 year old tires with my life.
