Can I get them? If so where and how much?

Please???

TIA,

TJW

EDIT: Also what's the correct way to ditch the hideous US-spec plate side lights? Looking for the part # and avail. of the corresponding plate backing plate W/O lights on it. thanks again...

You can get them from your friendly, neighborhood BMW parts desk. Use:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do?vin=&kind=P&series=114&body=Lim&arch=1

to look up the part number. The prices there give a rough idea of what it will cost at the dealer -- or though Maximillian or Carl Nelson or whoever supplies your habit. Remember to ask if you get a BMW_CCA discount if you're signed up (the best if not only reason to do so).

Anyway, here is the relevant realoem ETK page:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=2211&mospid=47129&btnr=63_0488&hg=63&fg=30

It looks like you want item #6.

email blunt thru the forum or wait awhile and he'll probably see this and respond...he's less expensive than the dealer...he's honest, dirt poor and can use the bucks too

esty... i'll quote you on the "dirt poor" bit! I love it!!

I've gotten rockers, door bump stops, door handle gaskets & will soon get bumper plate lights & windshield gaskets (F&R) from him. He is a good guy.. .no matter what you say about him!
